Although I’m enjoying a spring of great fishing I’m excited that summer is just around the corner. But I hate hot weather. And I’m not a “beach dude”. The only reason I love summer is because when it’s over…duck season begins.
My photos from last season motivate me through the summer to train the dog and get myself and my gear in shape for the best 60 days of the year. If you love to take pics of ducks and duck hunting, check out this contest on DeltaWaterfowl.org. Hunters upload some sweet pics and visitors to the site vote for their favorites. I’m not sure if you win anything if your pic is selected but clicking through the submissions gives me that jolt to grab the bumpers and get Zeus out to the lake for some double-blind retrieves.
